Inkjet marking is a digital marking technique used by Alpilles Automation. It involves propelling ink in the form of drops straight on to a substrate. In concrete terms, the marking machine sends ink drops to the right places on a substrate, at the right speed and in the right colour, thus guaranteeing very fast and high quality marking in comparison to other printing techniques.
The advantage of inkjet marking is undoubtedly the speed with which it processes the file and prints. Because the base is a digital file, it is much easier to move from one file to another. Furthermore, there is no need for in-depth knowledge of printing techniques and machines, since no intervention is needed to change the file on a marking machine, which is not the case with pad printing or screen printing, for instance. Any one of us can use this digital printing technique.
